History

St. Anne’s Women Council, which is an affiliate of the Maine Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, was reestablished in November 2000. Meetings are typically held the first Monday of the month in the People’s Room.

As part of the Maine Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (MDCCW), St. Anne’s Women Council is further linked with and affiliated to the National Council of Catholic Women (NCCW.) These affiliations give us a local, state and national voice on topics of importance to us as Catholic women. These affiliations also give us strength by more effectively coordinating our efforts in roles of leadership, service and charity.
